On May 22, 2014 during the spring meeting of the Board of Governors of MWSU, Dr. Michael Charlton was awarded tenure and promoted to the rank of Associate Professor of English and awarded distinction in the area of teaching effectiveness. Michael will also assume the duties of Director of Graduate Studies this fall. At the same meeting, Dr. Susan Hennessy was awarded distinction in service at the rank of Professor of French, and Dr. Mike Cadden was awarded distinction in scholarship at the rank of Professor of English.
