Mary Stone Dockery, and English alum and KU graduate student, has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize by Blood Lotus: An Online Literary Journal. The nomination is under the "Best of the Small Press Series."The process for nomination is explained on the Pushcart Prize site: "Little magazine and small book press editors (print or online) may make up to six nominations from their year’s publications by our December 1, (postmark) deadline. The nominations may be any combination of poetry, short fiction, essays or literary whatnot."
