The MWSU journal of literature and contemporary art has a new name, and under that name it was launched this week. REACH, formerly CANVAS, will continue to serve MWSU undergraduates and alumni. Students and faculty gathered to celebrate the launch and award winners from this year's edition. Editor-in-Chief Huey and his staff--JulieAnne Barber, Caitlin Dillon, and Lora Kroush (rising Editor-in-Chief) ran the event.
Award for best prose piece: Skylar Nichols for "The Aftermath" (Dr. Bill Church served as prose judge)
Award for best poem: Shaya Force for "Seven" (Dr. Gaywyn Moore served as poetry judge)
